Christie Thrasher Rudd


Christie Thrasher Rudd is a fitness professional with more than 25 years experience in personal training, aerobics, Pilates, TRX, unique ball and barre sculpt workouts and her own patented Cardio Resistance Trainer (CRT).  Christie has made a career of helping clients achieve the active healthy lifestyle they desire.


Christie began her career with a Bachelors Degree from Purdue University in Exercise Science and Humanities.  While at Purdue, Christie served as a member of the Purdue cheer squad and taught professionally through the National Cheerleaders Association of America.  Upon graduation, Christie spent her early career teaching classes at local exercise facilities.  In 1991 she founded her own gym and training facility in Indianapolis called Fitness Concepts.  Her gym quickly gained notoriety for her unique style of teaching which makes fitness, fun, challenging, and effective.  Christie is well known for her signature classes such as “Butts and Guts”, and “Bloody Mondays”.  She is also known for her creativity in choreography and her creative use of fitness accessories such as balls, blocks, gliders, TRX suspension, power plate, ballet barres,and any other fitness toys she comes across.


With a philosophy of lean body mass, Christie has developed many of her own signature specialty classes to keep her clients in shape.  Always on the cutting edge, Christie has maintained an ever-changing routine of exercises and classes.


Her unique approach to fitness has earned her recognition in local articles such as the Indianapolis Business Journal, Indianapolis Woman, and the Indianapolis Star.  She has also been highlighted numerous times on local news health segments. She has been featured nationally in Fitness, Living, and Shape Magazines, and recently earned the honor of being named Indianapolis Fitness Expert by After 40 Magazine. She led the aerobic warm-up for the Indianapolis Mini Marathon with over 30,000 people in attendance for four years.


She has also started an on-line fitness company w/partner and client Cathy Mecker called Active Assets. You can now EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE online with Christie's signature classes and  personal training. Great for traveling or if you can't make it to the studio!
